Thankful Thursday

Ah! Believe it or not, I am doing Thankful Thursday again!! Whoo-hoo! :)

This Thursday, I am thankful for my new little nephew, Eli, who is just too cute for words.

Haylee just loves her new cousin. I’m thinking she considers him the coolest baby doll ever. She was actually managing to hold him by herself the other day after his dreadful doctor’s visit, so we thought we would snap a few pics.

I know that these next several months will be a hard time for B and Ryan. I can’t imagine having to leave your newborn going back to another six months in the desert. Ryan is supposed to be back in January and then the Stroud family will be living in Texas where he is stationed.

I don’t know how our family here is going to be able to let Eli go all that way when we’ve gotten used to having the little cutie around. But…. choosing to be thankful…. I am thankful that we will at least have these 6 months to be a big part of his life. I know B and Ryan would choose to have it differently, and I would too if I were in their shoes. But, for now, we’ll enjoy all the time we can get with the little man.

So many little ones are born with difficulties and disabilities, but I am thankful to say that little Eli is perfect. He doesn’t even have a crazy toe. :)

He won’t even remember me. That sad. Maybe they’ll move back someday.

That picture is too cute… :) I didn’t realize they’d be leaving. I know that will be hard. -Now you’ll have an excuse to go to TX, right? :) Hope you’re having a great day!
