Happy New Year’s Eve to ya!  I’m very sad that my hubby is working today {boo} and that we have been struck with some sickness this week.  Enough that we had to cancel our NYE plans tonight.

so sad.

Instead I am going to try to plan some fun things for us to here since we’re all going to be quarantined. 

I saw a fun idea on Pinterest {where else???} of doing a balloon countdown and letting the kids pop a balloon every hour until midnight. 

I never actually clicked on the link to see what you do when you pop it {if anything}, but I thought maybe inside each balloon could be a slip of paper with the name of a board game.  Then every hour on the hour we’ll play a new game starting at a set time and then ending at their bedtime instead of midnight.  :) 

Hopefully, that will salvage some of the fun from our previous party plans.  {boohoo}
