Since lists are just so very fun, here’s yet another one…a list of my picks for the BEST BLOGGERS OF 2011!
In the beloved Home Décor Category…
- Gotta start with Sarah from Thrifty Décor Chick! She is awesome with the amazing and CHEAP projects she accomplishes and I so love that she keeps it REAL!! I think she was the FIRST home décor blog I started reading 2 years ago at this time, and she has since opened the door to most if not all the fabulous bloggers below.
- Kate from Centsational Girl. Can’t even believe what she is able to make out of nothing with her own two hands. Her home is straight out of the magazines, and her pics are always completely fabulous.
- Cassie from Hi Sugarplum. Such a fun blog with lots of DIY and fashion posts. Her house is beautiful yet realistic, and she is just a great read. PLUS… she is one of those unbelievable bigger bloggers {with hubby and kiddos} that blogs regular AND holds down another job.
- Traci from Beneath my Heart. I love how sweet Traci is and very open and transparent. She has just finished up an amazing albeit impromptu kitchen remodel on the cheap. You should definitely go check out her before and after pics she just posted. They are ah.ma.zing. Seriously! Would love to do that subway tile backsplash one day!
- And of course John and Sherri from Young House Love, though I honestly JUST STARTED following them in maybe November! They are so great though. I see why people are following them en masse. Love how cute they are about each other and their fun writing style. I also love how dedicated they are to doing things frugally.
And a few other non décor-ers that are such a treat to read… with wit and humor and sarcasm abounding!
- Rachel from Grasping for Objectivity. She literally makes me laugh out loud. I think she is most infamous for her Mom Jeans experiment. That’s how I found her anyway. The results of the experiment are truly incredible. Incredible, people!
- Sophie from Boo Mama. She breaks almost every blogging “rule” in the book, but her original way of writing keeps me entertained. :) Love her.
- Erin from Sunny Side Up. Erin is an amazingly organized mama with a wild one year old that makes me feel better about my crazy boys. :) I also happen to LOVE this quote from her hubby… “I’m just living in the real world, so you can float above it.” She intertwines humor throughout her posts and greatly inspires me with her Fashion Friday series.
