What are you eating this week? We are still doing well with our $100/week budget… even coming in under budget which is nice for those extra trips we always seem to be needing to make. :)

Soup is so perfect for these fall days, don’t you think? I am LOVING experiencing fall in our new house. I am still six months later pinching myself to see if this is REALLY our house. That is what living in a cozy 2 bedroom house for 6+ years will give you… a sense of value and APPRECIATION for what God has blessed us with.

Chris even built a fire this week that had me feeling all ooey-gooey inside. I love the smell of a wood burning fireplace! Of course, we both were sweating  after a few hours, but it was worth it!

I cannot wait to celebrate Christmas here making new family traditions and memories together! I am already thinking and planning on where to put up the tree, where we’ll put stockings etc!

Can’t wait! Though I don’t plan to rush away this cozy fall and Thanksgiving holiday.  What are your favorite fall things to do?

Loving the fall here in CT! Made lasagna rolls ups last week with butternut squash. So yummy! On this week’s menu — cheeseburger soup (a weight watchers recipe). Loving the meal planning and how much money & time it is saving our family. Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks!!
