Looking back… First Day Shots

I’ve seen this idea a few different places and decided to pull out the old First Day pics and reminisce myself.  Because I’m preggo and hormonal and need to create ways to become emotional, you know.
For some reason, we always do the first day pic in front of the front door, which helps you  see how much my little girl has grown!!!

She was sooo excited to start 4K with Mrs. Dehart!

This year was BIG since it was her first year wearing uniforms, and she got to be in the same building as Mommy!

First Grade with Mrs. Whitlow was special since she and Anna Whitlow had played together just about every day after school the year before since Mommy and Mrs. Whitlow taught fifth grade together. This year was the first pic with two kiddos!

And that brings us to this year!  Second Grade with mommy!  We’ll wait and see the verdict on this year.  :)

We’re beginning our FIFTH week, and I get lots of people asking how it’s going.  My answer is usually that Haylee still seems to like it, so in my book that means it’s going well!  She loved going to school so much that I would be sooooooo very disheartened if now she started hating school.

We seem to be in a good rhythm which doesn’t really mean much since Baby #3 is COMING, and I’m sure he can’t wait to disrupt our smooth schedule.  :)

    It's so cute to see how she's grown … she's a doll!! ;)

Love how you put the year labels on the pics, too – what a great idea!!

Hope you have a great week, Renee!

LOVE the progression! Of course, it makes me think of how my (not-so-little) ones have changed and grown and makes me a bit weepy. LOL I get so darn sentimental at things like this. haha :D My big girl is getting to be so big – which is fun, but I still want her to stay little forever. I'm sure things are going just fine over there in the homeschooling world. You are your own worst critic. Glad she's enjoying it — what's not to love? She gets to have more time with you! ;) Praying for you.
