It’s not over till the…

Well… you know.  It’s not politically correct to finish that sentence, is it?

The organizing challenge at A Bowl Full of Lemons has come to an end!  Let’s review, shall we?

Here’s all the challenges and the ones I did and didn’t accomplish…

Day 1 – Junk Drawer

Day 2 – Computer Desk

{A perk of no desk is no desk to clean off!}

Day 3 – Tupperware Cabinet

{To be honest, I just didn’t feel like doing this one!  In my defense, I did get a plastic shoe box to put the pile of lids in.  Does that count?}

Day 4 – Linen Closet

Day 5 – Under kitchen sink

Day 6 – Dresser Drawers

Day 7 – The Pantry

Day 8 – Coat Closet

{Our Coat Closet doubles as our Linen Closet, which I had already done!}

Day 9 – Toy organization

Day 10 – Laundry Room

Day 11 – The Freezer

Day 12 – Spice Cabinet

{Um, isn’t that part of the pantry? Just saying…}

Day 13 – Medicine Cabinet

Day 14 – Under bathroom sink

Day 15 – Medicine/Vitamin Storage

Day 16 – The Fridge

{I actually did do this behemoth task, but made the call not to photograph it. It is one task that the hubby actually complimented with no prompting… more than once!  I guess he’s a fan of shelves you can see through and the absence of mystery dishes in the corner!}

Day 17 – The Mail

{This one was already done… see freezer post, but I did update it a bit!}

Day 18 – Keepsakes

{This one was done too… I have a file drawer in my new file cabinet for each kid.  Any keepsake has to fit in there in order to make the cut!  Haylee also keeps some things of hers in a folder in her closet.}

Day 19 – Master Closet

{This one is COMING!!  I’m so excited! Nana offered to come get the older 2 kids one day, and I knew that this would be my almost one and only chance I had of finishing this task!  I have most of it done, but I still have to conquer the upper shelves!}

Day 20 – Photos

{I’m passing on this one.  Most of my photos are either already in a scrapbook or organized in folders on my computer. Up to probably September is backed up on an External Hard Drive, but I would love to have them uploaded online somewhere too in case of a fire.}

Day 21 – You pick!

{I’m going easy on this one and doing one I had already done and already posted!  :)}

WHEW!  What a month this has been!  I don’t think I ever thought I would get this much accomplished!  It’s amazing what a little motivation… and the power of suggestion can do!  {See how I fell flat on Day 21 without any suggestions?}

So… out of 21 challenges I only technically passed on two! A few I didn’t have what the challenge involved and a few I had already done because it was a combination of an earlier challenge.

I have enjoyed getting organized and hope I can keep it up without driving the family c r a z y!

We’ll see how that goes!
