I guess I’m a Real Blogger now…

I think I might be a REAL… L-I-V-E blogger now!  You know… one of those blogger peeps who has business cards and everything?

Yeah, I think that might be me.

Maybe.

:)

If you haven’t noticed my little Haven button that’s been hanging out on my sidebar for the last several months, then let me tell you that I am so excited to be heading to my FIRST blogging conference in Atlanta in just TWO WEEKS!

Some of my favorite home decor bloggers will be there and though the idea of going to a giant room full of people I don’t know is partly terrifying, I can’t wait to see all the things I can learn!

So everyone who’s everyone who’s ever been to a blog conference says business cards are a MUST to share with every breathing person you meet. :)

I listened and took the business card plunge.

Creating them was quite the challenge since I no longer had my trusty and beloved Picnik!  Sure I have Picmonkey, but I am growing weary of waiting on them to beef things up already and give us the option of saving our creations for future edits.

As it is now, you have a one chance shot, since once you close out, you cannot change anything!

I decided to give the awesome My Memories software a try, and after fifty gazillion versions, I think it turned out pretty well!  I used MomComm’s list of business card examples for my inspiration and followed Ashley’s tip for including your photo.

And my attempt at a minimalistic side two…  :)

What do you think?

I have FIVE HUNDRED of these puppies so everybody better watch out.

Just in case you are interested in whipping out your own fabulous cards of info, I got them printed at Got Print, and they turned out amazing!  They are a high quality glossy type card stock, and you can get 500 full color, double sided cards for only $25-ish with shipping… and they ship in about a week!

Is it weird to anyone else that I actually have blog business cards?  :)

I am planning to use a zippered clutch thing that I have with a front pocket. That way I can have a spot for cards that are GIVEN to me too! Trying to think of a something that will be fairly handy so I’m not fumbling everywhere to get one out, ha!
