Fashion Friday… fun on vacay!

Blouse: on Sale at Banana Republic! Skirt: Thrifted Wedges: Thrifted Jewelry: Thrifted

This was my fourth of July inspired and required outfit for Choir.  I probably wouldn’t normally wear the perfectly matching over-scale necklace, earrings, and bracelet ensemble, but I figured it could work for one of these dressing to a theme events.  :)  The necklace and earrings were a matching set, brand new in the package for only $1.50!

Spiderman {appropriately dressed in red, white, and blue!} even popped by to see all my great deals.  :)

Top: Ross? Pants: Express via GWShoes: No Boundaries

Chris, my ‘little too willing’ photographer decided to get creative and crazy with this photo shoot and kept clicking away.  :)

I found this little cotton black dress at Gap on vacation for about $10 and I just love it.  It’s so cute and comfy, and really doesn’t black just make everyone look better somehow?

Our camera battery died about Monday or Tuesday, and I forgot the battery charger {Argh!} so most of the week’s pictures were taken with our iPhones.  :) Thank goodness we had those!

Wade decided he wanted an mohawk like he saw on a teenager at the go karts.  :)

Shorts: Thrifted Tank: Banana Republic Top: Gap Flip flops: Gap

This was an outfit inspired by my fashionista 9 year old daughter. She recently went shopping with birthday money from her Aunt Linda and came home with lots of neon and green things.

I was trying to come up with something “new” to wear to Ripley’s Aquarium {had a blast there!} and decided to try my bright yellow tank with my dark teal top… and it worked!

I just needed her neon sandals.  :)

Just have to say your hair is looking fabulous these days! Something about the glasses and the longer straight (or straightish)hair really works.

Aw, thanks for saying that! I’m definitely in an experimental stage with my hair, lol! I am trying to figure out how to get it wavy-ish and not be a frizz fest!

Oooooh I totally want that red and white polka dot shirt. Seriously – do you have any idea how awesome that would be for football season this year? I’m constantly trying to find something in the right colors (so I don’t get ridiculed) but without team logos on it. If you find yourself needing a buck or two, I’ll take it off your hands. :)

Lol! I actually loaned it out for the fourth of July! And I think it’s a medium so it would swallow you up, I’m sure! :)
