A Wealth of Confusing Knowledge

One day out of the clear blue Wade said…

“This is Saturn… It’s in the sky.”

I looked in shock to see he had this in his hand…

Uh, no idea where he picked up that nugget of knowledge unless it was from his super nice teacher…

Again out of the clear blue {apparently he’s got a lot of thinking going on under that wild hair} he said…

“Who made God?”

Me: “Uh, um. Well, NO ONE made God.  He just always was.”

Him: Pause… “Well, God died.”

Me: {Oh great.  He’s totally confused and doesn’t know anything about God.}

Him: “…and then He ROSE AGAIN!”

Me: “Oh, yeah, right, right! Good job!!!”  {Whew!}

While reading a story I hadn’t ever read to him before {out of our big book of Dora adventures} Dora asked us to count in Spanish.

Wade proceeded to do so.

“Uno, dos, tres, cuatro…”

Speechless.

It’s the product of the Noggin/Disney Jr. version of homeschooling.

:)
