A Holly, Jolly Good Time…

Christmas was so fun this year with the kids.  Wade was so excited and did this hilarious squeal when he would open a gift.  :)  He is easy to please!

Wade

Haylee was so excited counting down the days to Christmas and was so happy opening her gifts.  She has been asking for new bedding for several years.  Probably since she was around 4 or so?  She had a Strawberry Shortcake set that she has continued to think she was too old for, so she was ecstatic to be able to ditch the SSC for her new flower bedding.  :)

Our morning started early feeding Davis in the wee hours before anyone was up.  I coaxed him to sleep afterwards, and then Chris and I got up to try to open our gifts before the kids got up.  Before we could start, Wade woke up and decided to join the party.  :)  It was hard for him to sit and watch us go first, but he survived.  Aren’t we mean parents making him wait?

I was very spoiled this year… look at all those big boxes!

I only got Davis one present, and since he {thankfully} slept through our gift exchange, he actually didn’t even “open” his until the next day.  :)  So sad, isn’t it?

I think he liked it! :)  {I love how Wade is determinedly ripping the paper to shreds in the bottom left pic.}   :)

We all had a very special Christmas and I am so thankful to be able to spend the holiday surrounded by family.

Our Christmas celebrating isn’t done though.  We will be celebrating with Chris’s family on New Years Day!

{You can tell I’ve learned a new trick since I’m on collage overload.  I apologize for my inability to show moderation!}
