Series of Unfortunate Events…

I have had quite the week.  It seems that the craziness of the season has sprung fully upon me this week… only I was not ready for IT.  Please allow me a minute or two to commiserate over my series of unfortunate events…

Monday, I was feeling quite yucky with the most stubborn cold that started the day after Thanksgiving, but managed to make it through the day.  Tuesday, I started off with a bang, or should I say, crash.  I slipped on our icy steps on my way out the door… holding my school bag, purse, AND Wade.  I was able to keep Wade safe, but my poor foot took the brunt of it.  Almost immediately, a knot popped up on the side of my foot!  It has since changed all shades of blue and green, and it still nice and tender…

Thursday, I had a toothache that grew worse and worse through the day.  Chris called and got me an appointment with his dentist for that afternoon, and was shocked and a bit embarrassed when the dentist informed me that there was no cavity.  He asked if I had a cold, and then confirmed his suspicions that I had a sinus infection which was causing the toothache.  Thankfully, he prescribed me an antibiotic, and when I went to check out, the receptionist said there shouldn’t be a charge!

Saturday night we had our Choir Concert at church (and with that came two late night rehearsals this week), and I managed to either Lose my iPhone, or have it stolen.  :(  So very sad about this. If you subscribe to MobileMe (which we do), you can locate your iPhone on a map, send a message to display on the screen, send a 2 minute sound to help you locate it, set a remote password lock to prevent someone from getting access to all that was on my phone etc, and finally, a remote “wipe” which takes all your data off the phone and returns it to factory settings.  We were excited to go on and possibly locate my phone, but incredibly disheartened to realize that “Find my iPhone” setting had been set up on Chris’s phone, but not mine!!!!!  Ahhhh!

I still was able to remote lock it with a password, but I think the “thief” could just take out my sim card and replace it with his, and wala!  He/she has an iPhone.  :(

Okay, my whining session is over… If you made it this far in the post, thanks for listening!

Regardless of my eventful week, I am so immensely blessed and need to focus on my blessings… esp these two blessings…
