Oh Christmas Tree…

Love this time of year! We got our tree up and decorated by the day after T’giving.  The decorations stay up such a short time, so the sooner it’s up the better.
Our Tree…

Don’t you just love the shimmering lights? I ‘heart’ it!! Yes, I do!  {Is it a decorating faux pas to have a different type ribbon in your bow on top than you have on your tree?  I’m thinking yes, but what do I know?}
Our stockings…

I bought these on clearance after Christmas 2 years ago, so we’ve only used them ONE year.  Last year.  You know…right before we found out that I had a bun in the oven.
Um, yeah, so that meant we were short a stocking, and since I bought them 2 years ago, I had little hope of finding a  matching 5th one for the newest member of the fam.  I decided to just try ebay and whaddayaknow I found one!  A brand new matching stocking! Wahoo!!
I just love, Love, LOVE the lighted garland framing them.   I haven’t gotten Davis’s stocking yet, so I just left a spot open for his.  :)
Our front door…

A little closer… Mmmm, I love that lighted garland.  It makes me happy.

…and even closer!

Doesn’t that just make you feel all oooey-gooey inside??
Can you tell I ♥ Christmas??

Linking up to TDC’s Christmas Tree Party!  I dare you to go check out all the fabulous trees!

{I think there is something about a person’s tree that gives you a glimpse into their personality, don’t you?}

    I love it all too! We are so much alike sometimes — it's scary. ha ha. The tree looks great. I think it must be a southern thing to wrap the ribbon around the tree like that? (I had never, ever seen that technique until I saw Heather and Michael's pics from last year, …and I love it!) I think I am going to scour the ribbon in the after-Christmas sales and give it a go next year. ;) What great luck to have found the exact stocking you were looking for! Love all of the decorations – and to hear that little Davis is doing so well! :) Have a great day!
