Weekend Getaway begins!!  Woo to the Hoo!

Only THIRTEEN MINUTES to prep FOUR MEALS! Woohoo!

These two recipes are big winners! If you love easy then you gotta add these to your list!  They are sooo good!

This is a crazy week for us with trick or treating on a school night {Ahhh!} and leaving for a quick weekend trip to the beach Friday! Love easy and yummy crockpot meals like this for crazy weeks! It’s just Chris and I getting away this weekend and believe it or not, I don’t think I’ll be taking ANY meals with me! Can you believe it?! I just don’t think I can squeeze out time this week for it. Plus with only the two of us, eating out isn’t quite the dramatic dog and pony show as it is with all three of our cherubs in tow. Today is actually our 13 year anniversary of getting engaged! Can’t believe it’s been that long, and here we are 13 years later with three kids!

Wade is actually doing great adjusting to life without the cast! I have been amazed. This pic is right after it came off, and he was feeling very anxious about it all. He has improved drastically since then in moving it himself and not panicking when we move him.

We got the kiddie sized walker Friday night and he surprised us all by giving it a try that night! He is putting a teensy bit of pressure on it but is mainly just doing a hopping jig sort of like you would with crutches. The downside to the walker is that he is not entirely steady, and when a fall happens it is a disastrous and dramatic ordeal.  Not to mention little brothers who grab walkers out from under you.

Not good.

For now he’s using the wheelchair primarily for all of our safety and sanity. When he gets more secure and confident with the walker then I’m sure he’ll be using it more and more. :)

Do you wanna take a stab at a stress free dinnertime?  Click for more info on how on earth I do it.   {Did I mention I ♥ it?}
