I am so excited about these two new meals I’m trying courtesy of none other than Pinterest, of course.  I have looked at sesame seed chicken recipes before but they were all pretty involved, and I love it when I can cook a meal w/o having to stand over the cooktop in the last few minutes before dinner is supposed to be ready.

Because at my house, those minutes are usually chaos. And everyone’s hungry and grouchy. And my little man Davis is PASSIONATELY pointing at the oven and gasping “Ha! Ha! Ha!”

{That was ‘hot, hot, hot’  in case you don’t speak one year old.}

So I was pretty stoked when I saw that not only did it NOT require any stove top cooking, it was actually a one dish CROCK POT meal!  Say what??

I’m hoping it will be as tasty as it was easy.

I ambitiously decided to go grocery shopping solo this week… with all three kids,  something I usually avoid at all costs.

It was quite the experience for sure, and I’ll be sharing more about my opinion of despicable monster buggies tomorrow.   I really hope you’ll weigh in and let me know if I’m alone in my feelings.  :)

Regardless of my trauma at the grocery store, I was able to get Five Meals prepped in about 30 minutes this week, and Chris earned mega hubby points by prepping the turkey rolls and bagging them up!

I split the Crockpot Sesame Chicken and the Lime Chicken Burritos in two and sent one of each to the freezer.  Woot!  Love getting that freezer stocked with little to no effort by me.

It’s hard to beat the rewarding feeling of pulling a home cooked meal straight out of the freezer whenever you need one!

What are YOU cooking this week?

    I found your blog last week and read through SO much of it in just a couple of days. You totally inspired me to start doing this! I am a busy working mom of two girls and I hate too much processed crap and I really hate fast food so starting this will help me out SO much! I started out slowly by having this weekends meals all prepped Friday night and we didn't eat out once! It was fantastic and everyone loved the food I made! Thanks for sharing so much of what you do because without all of the pics and recipe ideas I would be totally lost! I appreciate it so much!!!

    Awesome! I just pinned those burritos. I can't wait to try them. I know what you mean, my kids all turn into monsters right at 5 o'clock. Every night!

    Yum! Your meals all look so deluxe. I have some pretty simple meal plans but I am hoping to get some inspiration from some place and this looks like a good spot. Here's what we have planned this week.
