It’s a holiday weekend!!!  Whoo-hoo!

Memorial Day is a sure sign that Summer is HERE, right?!  It also signals the gesturing in of yummy summer recipes and meals.

Today is also my sweet not-so-little HayleeGirl’s birthday!  Can’t fathom that my firstborn could be EIGHT.  I’m.so.old.  It is a nice birthday treat for her to have Daddy home on her special day!

After a picnic yesterday with our Sunday School class, we stopped by Trader Joe’s for my very first ever visit!

I was in heaven.  I couldn’t believe I was in a store full of all natural convenient foods at affordable prices.  It would only be better if it were closer to us and not 15-20 minutes away.  Regardless of the distance, I hope we can make TJ’s a weekly destination!!

{I was scarred for life after watching only part of Food, Inc.  Anybody else with me?  That made it all the more incredible to see TJ products with words like “free range”, “hormone free”, and “all natural” all at comparable price points.}

Some all natural options that just had to make their way to my buggy… sunscreen, chips, 90 sec pouch rice,  and sweet potato fries, among other things!

Who knew there were options like all natural 90 second pouch rice??

Up on the menu this week…

Monday… Pop’s Chicken Wings

Tuesday… Cheeseburger Sliders

Wednesday… Broiled Steak Bites

Thursday… Favorites Buffet

Friday… Pizza Night

Saturday… Crockpot BBQ Chicken

Sunday… Asian Pork Chops

I decided to go with ground beef for the sliders since the hubs says that ground turkey does not do well on the grill.  Too much crumbling and unbecoming things like that.

I can push the ground turkey only so far you know.

Only 37 minutes to prep four meals this week…
