Less than 7 weeks to go!

We’ve hit 33 weeks folks, believe it or not.  There is something about hitting the single digits in the countdown process that makes you feel like IT’S GETTING CLOSE!!!  I somehow managed to escape with NO weight gain from my 30 to my 32 week appointment.  Whoo hoo! Chris was very surprised since he says I ate all his ice cream snickers.  Can you believe him?

These are like the only maternity shorts I have that fit.  It’s a good thing they have a myriad of colors in them so I can least wear different shirts.  :)
The little stinker is moving constantly and so much so that I even asked the doctor if it was normal to feel like the baby was having seizures.  He just smiled and tried to reassure me. Apparently that’s not the first time he’s been asked that by a constantly pummeled mommy to be.

My appointment took forevah, big surprise.  I actually had to wait on the hard and excruciatingly uncomfy exam table for close to an HOUR.  Seriously.  The worst part apart that was when he did finally come in, he was only with me for five minutes or less.

Baby #3 is measuring right where he should be which somehow is reassuring.  I am scheduled for another ultrasound at my next appointment to check the fluid on the kidney, and it will be nice to get a chance to get another peek at the little wiggle worm.

We are STILL waiting on the contractor’s estimate before we can move forward with the addition, so for now the baby will be joining us in the little bit of room we have to squeeze him in.  I feel a teensy bit more prepared for him as I actually pulled down the 0-3 month box and went through it.  I thoroughly loaded and stuffed the little guy’s two tiny drawers, one shelf, and portion of the closet that he was allotted.

So now maybe since we are sort of ready he can come!

What’s sad is that I’m already not getting much sleep it seems and I know there won’t be any “relief” once he arrives..  boo hoo.

Check out this article from Parenting.com on the most ridiculous parenting products out there.  Some of them are quite hilarious and some were horrifying.

Hilarious…

This is a  Cardboard box Bassinet.  You know since you only use the bassinet for such a short time, it makes sense for it to be disposable, right?  Too bad the price tag is more than a super nice one at Babies R Us that you can pass down to your grandkids.

These are just too funny.  Your little princess’s first pair of heels… complete with a collapsible heel.

Horrifying…

hands

These are called the Zaky Infant Pillow.  Horrifying, right?
PlacentaTeddy_P This is the most horrifying, nightmare inducing one of all… the Placenta Teddy Bear.  Ahhhh!
You have to follow several steps to dry out the placenta then you sew it into the teddy bear. Yikes!
So, what do you think?  Should I register for any of these?   :)
P.S.   TODAY IS OUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!  I’ll let you know how it goes!

Congrats on being that much closer! The new baby supplies…oh my word, the teddy bear couldn't be more gross! Who thinks of these things?? LOL The hand pillow though, a wee bit creepy, could be useful. LOL
