Clutter Confessions… The Junk Cabinet

As previously mentioned, I have been struck by the beginning of the New Year itch to purge and organize! I am greatly embarrassed to even show you this picture since it is soooooo ridiculous.

Do you remember in that episode of Friends where Monica {while otherwise obsessively clean} had that closet that was an absolute mess?  Consider this my “Monica Closet.”

Yikes. Seriously.

Are you shocked and appalled?

All of that STUFF came out of this little cabinet.

I know.

It’s hard to believe, but I’m an overachiever when it comes to packing the stuff in.  Again.  So embarrassed!

And now the big reveal…

Our fabulous cabinet space now decked out with our matching fabric bins from Lowes!

Isn’t it lovely??

Believe it or not, there are SIX bins in there!  We tried to put stuff in the back bottom two bins that are less used since you will have to pull out the first layer to get to them.

IMG_1487

REGARDLESS of the layering, it’s still eons better than the horrific-ness it was before!

Let’s just see that before and after one more time…

{Sigh!}

    WOW! Great job! I would never have thought to use those bins for that purpose. I'm still trying to figure out who thought those dinky little shelves waaaaaay in the back of the cabinets would be a good idea. Love the transformation!

    That's amazing! The bins look perfect in there. I need to copy this idea for my "monica" areas.
