A Splash of Fun

I have to share my newest and ‘funnest’ redo.  Pillow Covers!  This was a super duper easy redo too if you don’t count the hard part of making a decision already. I am not the greatest on making choices.  World’s worst might be a better description, actually.

It drives me bonkers to think that I’ll buy something and then find it later for cheaper, or worse finding something else I like better.  It’s why I rarely buy something “big” without trying to research the life out of it first to see what else is out there.

I searched and searched etsy for pillow covers for our couch.  I think pillow covers can be a cheaper, easier redo than just buying new pillows altogether, but just try searching “pillow covers” on etsy and prepare to be overwhelmed.

It’s moments like this one that I wish I could sew, because, surely, a pillow cover would be one of the easiest sewing projects evah.

But alas, I have not acquired that domestic skill.  Boo hoo.

But, fortunately for me, I have acquired the skill of savvy shopper.  :)

What do you think?

Dontcha just LOVE it?

I do, I do!!!

I love that it brings other colors besides just the red and brown I had going on.

I  even managed to make a {albeit quick} shopping trip to Ross to find the ‘perfect something’ turquoise or yellow to further accessorize… and what do you know, but they had the perfect rectangular aqua pillow just for me.  What a blessing!  And it was only $8!

I am loving having some COLOR going on now!

What do you think????

Ab-So-Lutely!!!! It's incredible how the color pops on those pillows. Really nice to have such a small change make such a big difference, huh?
