A Big Birthday Bash

Life has been crazy, as I’ve said before, but I am squeezing out a few minutes to post about our amazing birthday bash we had on Saturday. It was a jam packed day, but so fun!

Chris, Heather and Sam all had a birthday last week so Sam came up with the fabulous plan to celebrate together on Saturday. Each person (minus me with no bday!) could pick an event under $50 and the others had to do it.

Chris picked the High Ropes Course at the Whitewater Center.
Sam picked the Rock Wall at the W.C (it wasn’t open when we got there, though… poor Sam!) and Heather picked a massage!
We finished out the day with dinner at the Melting Pot! Fondue is back! None of us had ever been there before, so we thought it a fitting place for this special event. The food was incredible with the Cheese Fondue and the Chocolate Fondue being at the T-O-P of the list for an unbelievable taste. We attacked the Cheese Fondue when it came out, and I’m pretty sure that Sam completely finished off EVERYTHING they brought out for us to dip in the cheese. Did I mention that it was sooooo good?
There was a bit of a bump in the road for me when I couldn’t find my way back to the table after coming back from the restroom! It’s like a maze in there, seriously. I really began to think that I was in trouble when I kept finding myself in dead-ends with no clue as to where my table was! Don’t worry, I did finally manage to make it back. What’s really bad is that I actually walked right past it to start with. So sad. :)

Here’s more pics here complete with more details of the crazy life threatening day…

Ya know, when I was a kid, I always wanted to be as old as Chris was because he was “cool”. But as the years go by, I’m getting happier and happier that I’m 5 years behind him. :) Ha ha… Happy Birthday to all.

I started laughing again about the loosing your way thing. I thought it was so funny because we were just saying we thought you got lost on your way to the bathroom and you actually did. How many times can someone say that happened. I can just see you wondering around the MP and looking worried. In your defense I had to go too, but that place was so confusing I decided I could hold it.
